Lets guess the destination of our latest Diveworld Trip?
Ideally timed to avoid the cold and snow our week in Marsa Shagra, Southern Red Sea gave us the chance to complete lots of open water training alongside the usual superb diving.
We started the week off with the flight out from Birmingham, very convenient, directly into Marsa airport, which then took just 40 minutes to the village by air conditioned minibus, perfect.
Most of the group took advantage of the guided orientation dives while Louise and myself guided Alfie & Albert Atack and Elizabeth Uruchurtu through their final dives of the PADI Open Water course.
During the rest of the week we spent many hours enjoying the pristine house reef. Both North & South reefs are huge with pristine corals and life everywhere. Training courses were mixed with pleasure dives and our divers accomplshed a good few specialties over the week.Congratulations to Kerry Tudor-Hird, Chris Nuttall, Laura Coddington & Jamie Hird on picking up a good number of extra qualifications over the week.
The trip was brought to a splendid climax by a pod of dolphin staying on the house reef for the whole of our last day, always a thrill.
