Farne Islands, diving with seals. 18th to 20th September 2020. £245
Nothing can beat close interaction with large marine mammals on their terms. Farne Island seals are noted for their curiosity and hold no fear of divers. Prepare to have your fins and other extremities play nibbled. This is a trip that will hold memories for ever! Check out our videos and see for yourself.
The Diveworld trip includes four boat dives off William Shiels `Glad Tidings`, a large well equiped dive boat with a diver lift. Two nights accommodation is at Beach House Hotel, B&B ( the great breakfast sets you up for a full days diving) and as the name implies right on the sea front overlooking the beach, conveniently just 5 minutes away from the pubs and restaurants of downtown Seahouses, and the harbour where we board the boat.
Diving is suitable for all levels, seals are usually shallow so no need to go deep if you don`t want to. Equipment hire is available from us as required. Dry Suit is recommended/required. Usual UK conditions will be encountered, so there may be current and variable visability.
SMB use is required as a safety measure so please ask if you need assistance with this, we can offer full training for SMB and Dry Suit before the trip, if required.
This is always our most popular trip, last years trip was 30 plus divers. William is reporting record numbers of seal pups again this year so encounters are more or less definite. A £75 deposit secures you a place on this always memorable trip.
