Probably the most picturesque UK dive trip we run, this trip is always over subscribed so get you name in early. This is a longish trip but so worth the journey for the quality of the diving, even the journey is a beauty. We have added an extra day to get the most benefit from the trip.

The trip consists of three nights B&B accommodation and three days diving. The accommodation is right on the seafront with amazing views over the Sound of Mull. Lochaline Hotel has been a watering stop on our previous visits, often with hilarious results, think of "League of Gentlemen". The hotel has been bought out and fully refurbished and us outsiders are now more than welcome. It is fantastically well situated. We limit places for the boat to ten divers to allow maximum comfort. At least two dives are available each day . There is another pub within 10 minutes walk too, life could not get any easier.

The boat is spaceous for easy kitting up and has a rear diver lift, easy peasy. Diving is from  Highland Basecamp`s and their owndive  boat, an Aquastar 33. There are all the usual safety and navigational features you expect from a  modern charter, plus tea, coffee and biccies after the dives. Airfills are available back at Basecamp too.

The diving is all recreational depths and suitable for most divers, to get the best experience PADI Advanced Diver is preferred as some of the better wrecks are around 30m . We aim to take in all the spectacular,  iconic wrecks. Rondo, Thesis, Breda, Shuna & Hispania are the usual highlights and are simply awesome wreck dives, there is the added bonus of hand gathering a few scallops.

As with all trips full kit hire is available and can be transported to site for you. DSMB use is mandatory so let us know if you need this training. We can also provide guides/buddies for anyone who needs support, please let us know well in advance.

This is probably one of the finest diving trips in the UK that we organise, and we are super excited at the prospect of returning in 2023 after the enforced break due to Covid, and look forward to it as the highlight of our UK year, the wrecks are simply stunning!
